Monavie offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to make money as an Independent Distributor. The compensation plan is very much like all other multi level marketing opportunities where you make more money from the more people you recruit.

Each time you introduce someone to Monavie and that person decides to join as a distributor themselves, that person is added to your downline. Commissions are paid out to you based on a percentage of all of the net profits in your downline.

However, the hard part of the MLM business model is most distributors will leave your downline after about 3 months. They leave because they are not able to bring in enough people into their own downline to turn a profit. So rather then losing money, they decide to leave unless they really like the product and just want to keep using the product themselves.

So you need to bring in more distributors at a faster rate than the rate at which distributors leave or else you may join the 90% of distributors who leave within 90 days.

Those who want to become a product user of Monavie to make money as an Independent Distributor should also know there is a licensing fee of $39 along with an annual renewal fee of $20.

Most other similar product lines that also have independent distributors typically don’t have licensing costs.

But as with other MLM’s, the main benefit is big money if you are able to bring in new distributors at a significantly faster rate then they leave.

My Recommendations:

The Monavie product is a quality health product. For any successful business to stand the test of time, the product needs to be of high value.

Along with the $39 licensing fee and annual renewal fee of $20 to become a distributor, the product cost is a little on the high side. The price may detract some from joining Monavie as a distributor when there are many other similar health-product MLM’s that cost less and have no licensing fees.

If you are an experienced network marketer and know how to market to product-users and people looking to make money, than you should consider joining Monavie as a distributor.

If you have little or no experience on how to be successful in Multi-Level-Marketing opportunities, then I recommend not joining Monavie.

Instead, if you don’t have a lot of money to start a business but you are determined to build a business and stop working at a job, then you might want to consider looking at some high ticket programs.

High-ticket programs usually require an investment of $700 to $5000 but hey also pay lucrative commissions from 75% to 100% of the cost to join the program. Once you are able to make money in a high ticket program first, you can join an MLM later once you have built up your business contacts and built up your list of emails.

Low Carb Diet Triumphs in Two Year Study

The Dr. Atkins low-carb diet thumps traditional diets in weight loss research. The study by Ben-Gurion University of the Negev pitted the low-carb diet against Mediterranean and low-fat diets. Low-carb was declared the winner in helping the most people lose the most weight.

The research produced even bigger news. The low-card diet improved cholesterol levels more than the other diets.

The study lasted for two years, which was much longer than most diet studies. In addition, 85% of the 322 people who began the test stuck with the plan for the entire two years.

Most of the participants in the study were men and both men and women get roughly equal amounts of exercise. The average weight loss for people in the low-carb group was 10.3 pounds at the end of the two year study.

The Mediterranean diet group come in a close second as the average weight loss per person was 10 pounds. The low fat dieters finished in third place with 6.5 pounds of average weight loss.

The low-carb diet provided a big surprise for researchers when it was found that the diet also provided an important reduction in the level of cholesterol. That included an improvement in the ratio of total cholesterol to HDL. HDL is considered the “good” cholesterol.

The diet study was done in a controlled environment in Israel. The participants were employees of an isolated nuclear-research company. There were few sources of food nearby, so the study group took all of their meals in the facility’s cafeteria. To maintain control of the study appropriate foods for each diet were identified by colored dots. Participants had their choice of foods marked with the color of their diet plan

The low-fat diet was designed to allow consumption of no more than 30% of calories from fat. In addition it restricted the intake of calories and cholesterol. It controlled that intake by focusing the diet on low-fat grains, vegetables and fruits.

With the Mediterranean style diet the food emphases was on poultry, fish, olive oil and nuts.

The low-carb diet plan limited consumption of carbohydrates, but set no limits for calories or fats. It was suggested that participants in that group choose from vegetarian sources of fat and protein.

Someone with total cholesterol of 200 and an HDL of 50 would have a ratio of 4 to 1. The American Heart Association recommends an optimum ratio of 3.5 to 1. A low ratio reduces the risk of hardening of the arteries. For those on the low-carb diets the ratio declined by 20%, 16 for the Mediterranean diet and 12% for those on the low fat diet.

Research published last year shows a low-carb diet wins again when it comes to blood pressure. It was found that overweight women on the Atkins low-carb plan had slightly better blood pressure and cholesterol readings when compared with women on the Zone diet and Ornish diet.

One Good Way To Avoid Bad Days In Online Forex Currency Trading

In online Forex currency trading, even just one bad day can make the difference between a profitable month and a losing month.

Every day, you have to be at the top of your game because everything depends on you as the one in control of all you do. Even more important than the markets you trade or the Forex currency trading system you use, execution is the key determinant in whether or not you’ll make money.

If you’re feeling lousy, in a pessimistic mood, or just not up to par, this will likely affect your decisions, including whether you stick to your online forex trading system or if you deviate from it - and wind up making bad decisions that result in losses or money left on the table.

Here’s an example to illustrate.

A good friend of mine has been in trading for a number of years. He does very well and has his Forex currency trading fine-tuned to the point that he has that feel for the markets that only comes with long-term experience as a trader.

I don’t want to embarrass him with this, because he was rather down when he shared this with me, so I’ll refer to him as Kevin, but that’s not his real name.

Week before last, Kevin and I were talking on the phone and catching up since our last visit.

He told me how the day before, he might as well have have stayed home and stayed in bed. He’d been sneezing and coughing and generally feeling like lousy. The night before, he hadn’t slept well and so he was pretty tired too.

I asked him how the day had gone in his trading, and that was really the big issue. He said that he’d been rather pessimistic because he was tired and just feeling ragged.

Of course this affected everything, especially his decision-making regarding his trades.

Because he’s been in a mediocre mood, twice he got out of trades too early because he was just ’sure’ that they would stop short and turn against him, even though he picked them right and they ran.

Throughout the middle portion of the day, he missed out on four winners, because didn’t even bother to enter the trades. He felt that they’d just turn out to be losers like other times when the market turned on him right after getting in. His system had done its job of signaling him to get in and at the right time. Each time, he just was in too bad of a mood to accept he had a winner.

After the last one of those, he got mad and decided it was time for some payback, so he again ignored his system and hastily entered another trade, even though there was no entry signal. Another bad move - and quick loss of $400.

By the end of the day, he’d cut his profits short by $1,100 in profits by getting out too early, then missed out on another $1,800 by not entering the trades when he should have, and then just plain lost another $400 with a bad decision.

He really would have been better of home in bed.

Now the point here really isn’t to stay away from trading. You do it to make money and in order to profit you do have to show up.

Just like any other activity that really matters, you want preventive measures in place. You want to have problems averted, just plain not come up at all if possible.

You see, Kevin’s problem is that he neglects his health and general state. Not badly, though. Quite like many people.

His diet is marginal.

He stays up late and shorts himself sleep.

He never gets any exercise.

He doesn’t even take any vitamins to help make up for the rest.

Now, I love sweets and other marginally healthy foods too. I always have been a night person, NOT a morning person, and I certainly don’t exercise as much as I should for my age. I do however take my vitamins every day, along with additional antioxidants.

Whether your general health is just okay, or maybe you are physically stressed, the main thing is to stay ahead of the game, to do the right things BEFORE a problem arises.

The frequency that I get sick is pretty low, plus I do enjoy pretty reasonable health and good spirits the great majority of the time.
